Officially Licensed Monopoly Canvas Art
"Monopoly - Rent Due" by IKONICK.
Life strategies paired with the Iconic monopoly board game icons!
In life there are renters and there are owners.
The owners have it easy. Their place is guaranteed—already secure. The renters, on the other hand, have to continuously earn their spot and prove their worth. It is a far less comfortable situation. But that constant demand of effort teaches a valuable life lesson: Nothing is promised. You have to put in the work if you want to stay in the game.
The same is true in every aspect of life. If you want to enjoy success, you have to pay what's due. That doesn't mean you pay your dues once and enjoy the reward forever—you have to constantly put in the work, or else lose your progress.
It is a mindset born from humility. Imagine every morning you wake up, you have to establish your personal worth from scratch. Live every day with that mentality and you will find success.
Apple wouldn't be the tech titan they are today if Steve Jobs thought they'd bought success with the Macintosh computer. He knew you had to pay rent to stay in the spotlight, and he paid it every day, revolutionizing the way people listened to music and redefining what a phone was capable of.
In the same way, an athlete doesn't stay at the top of their sport without working every single day to stay ahead of the competition. Look at Michael Jordan, Serena Williams, Muhammed Ali. The longevity of their reigns are the result of consistent effort and dedication.
The price of success is due daily. If you get lazy, you fall behind.
Aristotle said, “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” If your habits aren't leading you to excellence, it's time to audit your daily routine. If a habit brings you closer to your goals, that pays the rent. If not, it’s time to cut it.
"Rent Due" from the officially licensed Monopoly Collection cautions you against complacency. Success is never owned. Only rented. Hang this canvas wall art where you will see it daily, and remember to put in the work every day.
Origins Of Monopoly
The earliest known version of Monopoly, known as The Landlord's Game, was designed by Elizabeth Magie in 1904 to teach people about realty and taxation. It was a practical demonstration of the present system of land grabbing with all its usual outcomes and consequences. In 1935, It then inspired the game we know today.
The Inspiration for IKONICKs collection comes from the same very origin Elizabeth Magie had to educate and teach. This new collection is meant to rewrite the nostalgic stories we all played growing up. We created our own world with the intention to inspire and motivate a new generation of entrepreneurs and dreamers that want to build their empire through hard work, patience, risk-taking, leadership, optimism, focus, and gratitude.
